Anti-stigma

Gofal Cymru has launched an online petition calling for a mental health anti-stigma campaign in Wales. Signing the petition is easy, just click on the petition link below, select the yes box and leave your email address (you can also leave a comment if you wish).

Successful anti-stigma campaigns are currently running in both England (Time to Change) and Scotland (See Me). Research by the Equality and Human Rights Council found over a third of people in Wales wouldn't be happy if a relative was marrying someone who experienced mental ill health.

Some 40% thought someone who experiences depression is unsuitable to be a primary school teacher.
