Gofal Cymru has a wealth of experience providing information and support to people on mental health issues. Within our pool of Mental Health practitioners we have skilled and experienced trainers who are able to deliver bespoke sessions to groups to raise awareness of mental health issues and promote mental wellbeing. Mental ill health affects 1 in 4 people in the UK and costs UK industry £8.4bn a year. Understanding mental health and being able to offer support as well as promoting recovery of good mental health is beneficial to both individuals and organisations. In terms of relevance, comparisons can be made with this course and the Emergency First Aid/First Aid in the Workplace that has become core training for many organisations. What does it cover? The course encompasses the full spectrum of mental ill health from depression, anxiety and stress through to serious psychotic illness and covers:-
